Project Overview

This project was developed as part of a team collaboration with Bearaby to design a new product for their wellness-focused portfolio. The goal was to extend Bearaby’s design language into the pre-sleep wind-down space, creating a soft good that promotes rest, mindfulness, and comfort through sustainability and thoughtful design.

Approach & Solution

The Naplow reimagines traditional pillows through a modular form factor that allows users to reposition and connect weighted segments for personalized support. The design integrates Bearaby’s signature natural materials such as TENCEL, Terraclay, and organic latex, emphasizing eco-conscious production and timeless visual appeal.

Outcome & Results

The Naplow received highly positive feedback from both users and the Bearaby design team, who praised its versatility, comfort, and alignment with the brand’s calming aesthetic. This project was voted as a top project in the design class. The strong response led to further discussions with Bearaby about refining the design for potential market introduction and integration into their existing product lineup.
